I miss musicals back home. Though they're sometimes pretty stressful and hard work, they brought ppl together(mostly) in a weird way. For a few months, a group of youth had a purpose to work towards. Pity video cameras made their way into musical production fairly recently, otherwise more memories would have been captured.

Anyone has the soundtrack to this Max Lucado musical?

This was taken further back, when we said goodbye to Jin's batch, who were moving onto MYF. I still remember everyone bursting out in laughter when Nicholas pulled the sock out of the coffee tin.

Never noticed, but I AM the ONLY ONE who is WORKING in this group! I feel so out of place. Can I go back to studying? For all the things I complained about studying, I don't mind any bit to come back to college. Refusing to grow up. Doing it alone is even harder. So make sure you have your support and 'bitching' group to make sure you can survive the torments of this side of life. I'm still looking for mine. They are lost somewhere.

Have always been the odd one out, haven't I? Damn. What's going on with me? I HAVE NO INKLING. Anyone want to try telling/hinting to me why is that so?

*You got to forgive the not very nice words I used. They're the best way to describe those issues up there with my limited vocabulary. Heh.

Nothings been happening in my life lately, except for that few friends whom I am getting to know better. Other than that, it would be about assignments, as I run the last mile to my last semester in university. Can you believe it? It seems as though it was just yesterday that I left Sitiawan to further my studies, and here I am, graduating in about a month? It's overwhelming, and unbelievable! I know I would miss going to college and the carefree life I have always had. It's time to grow up now that I have nothing else to fall back on. Can't point at college and say, "I'm still studying ya know?". That would be outrageous by the end of June. End of student life is depressing. It should not be. This is really part of life, from one phase to another. Welcome to life Grace!

In response to phil then...i've just come back lugging shopping for house...plenty of veg, chicken, personal stuff like chips and bratwurst..that sorta thing. It looked light, but on the walk home i had this weird grimace on my face that was supposed to show I didnt think it was too heavy when, in fact, it was pulling my arms out from my sockets...at least i'll get bratwurst for lunch for a few days.

3 weeks plus to exams...and i've got 5 subspecialities to study. Hating to be the spoilsport in my smart household who seemingly study much less than me and seem to do just fine, but am forced to forgo my daily Dota game, and Scrubs till i finish my study quota each nite...and its not gonna help when by next week, most of liverpool uni will hava finished their exams and I'll be among the poor medics slaving away when others are out bbbqing and frisbeeing..

Had pretty good ward teaching today by a young consultant. Premature babies, really a lot of problems la...and they are so so so small. I've never seen such small humans b4, seriously..wonder how the neonatologists have the guts to mess around with their frail bodies. Some of them you can't even see them for the mass of tubes and blankets around their incubators. Finally found out the name of the baby assigned to me and two others today. We're supposed to check the history, eexamine if possible and present the case on friday to a registrar.

So my to do list for today:
Eat my fried rice lunch
Cut up chicken for tmrw
Type out the history and email it to my group
Write up a core case
Get some sleep
Write up another core case
Dinner
Write up a third core case, hopefully a fourth as well
Read clinical handbook on core cases
Read up on what normal babies have wrong with them
Hopefully watch a few scrubs episodes
Sleep

It always seems that whenever I plan, nothing seems to get done. We'll see.
BTW, the cd Kisses From Heaven by 3 great Christian singers: Michelle Tumes, Susan Ashton and Christine Dente is surprisingly good to study to.

Wow I'm 21!!! Thanks Grace for the wishes! I didn't get anything from you so thought you forgot, but lucky I checked here! Thanks so much sis!!

But yeah, it's been good, it's been a good birthday! I had a party last night to celebrate my birthday. It was held at CAC, which is about 10 minutes away from my house and I had many of my friends there. I think about 70-80 people came in total! My parents were there also, with their own separate table with their friends. I hope everyone had a good time! It was pretty busy hosting! But everything went so well I know i'll have good memories from it always. Unfortunately it was the first time in my life I got drunk too! But it's kind of a tradition to have to drink 21 shots (19 Tequilas, 1 Jaigermeister, and 1 Midori/Bailee's mix) on your 21st! Don't worry I won't be getting drunk too often, i had a really bad hangover this morning and it just ain't worth it! I didn't feel any better drunk.

But yeah, Uni is going well so far. Uhm.. My parents are going back soon for my sister's and brothers birthday, which is on the 31st of April (my sis') and 1st May (my bro's). I'll also be going on a christian camp from 17-21st April! I'm very excited! But yes, other than that, my life is nothing much else than studying and computer games (as usual). I am well and fine, enjoying all there is to life, but need to work on that more. Riddles I am talking, yeah.

Final semester to university life, which means no more text books starting June! Hallelujah! Some of you, on the other hand, just started. Muahahahaha. =P I'll pick up text books again in the near future, just don't know when.

And more to life after that. Wow, transition again. Well, I am going through that now, but I guess it's more stabilised already. For those of you starting that journey, hang on to God. He may seem faraway, but in fact He is ALWAYS near. Jackson, this applies to you too. Don't be swayed by what the world offers though they may taste absolutely delicious. I think to stand after the storm tastes better! =)

Evangelistic Event

There will be an evangelistic event this Saturday at Chin Hock Church at 8pm. It will be led by Pastor GT Lim who is also a famous gospel singer within the chinese speaking community. It will be conducted in Mandarin and Hokkien. He is from Kuching, Sarawak. A law graduate from N. Zealand. He didn't practice law instead went straight into full time ministry. He writes his own songs and lyrics but don't know a single music note. He has a great testimony to share. I've actually heard him speak last night in Puchong. His testimony moves the hearts of the audiences, challenges them to persevere and hope in the Lord. Further updates will be posted once I receive them.

Hey everyone, Jonathan from cold Liverpool here.

Sorry for the long silence. Life has been busy, and is letting up for 2 weeks to allow Easter holidays to happen. Am going for a week's trip to Scotland with friends so won't be posting that much anyway, but am glad to hear about all the Sitiawan happenings.

One question: everyone only play dota now isit?

Hope everyone is doing fine, and that I won't get killed by heat stroke when I touchdown in KLIA in June. Miss mamak, the warm weather, and Sitiawan kompiang. You ppl, on the other hand, I don't miss as much. Cos you can't be eaten.

miss you all so much!!! miss dotaing!anyway,i am in US now already.not as fun as i thought it would be lah.so hard out here.everything is new and have to do everything by urself.the college system here is definitely different from that in malaysia.over here they want you to be all rounded so i have to do courses like art and humanity.

so i am majoring in electrical engineering and will begin class on 10th of april.after 2 years i gona transfer to university california los angelas.evrytime i wanna go to college i have to walk 15 minutes from my host house to the bus stop.the bus comes every half an hour.oh,i am staying with these two middle aged white husband and wife.they have 3 sons and a daughter.they are very nice.and i have a housemate who is also an international student from hong kong.he is very nice and he have a car.so he will sometimes drive me to places or get something to eat.and he got xbox 360 so i get to play with it!

anyway,i will be back for christmas and new year,so will see you all soon.dun worry,i still a good boy here.nothin much to do in town and havent make any freinds yet.no white castle here lah.white castle oni in the east side.but got in-and-out burger.so i am actually using my host's computer right now.i have order a computer online with 30% off and hopefully it will arrive next week. :P and aiyo,i dont think here got church kah except chatolic church.but aynway this weekend i will ask my host and see.

the commanwealth games was in melbourne and it ended yesterday. i went for the badmintion mix team semifinals, and guess what charles, malaysia vs new zealand. new zealand got trashed! well i think you being a true blue malaysian would put malaysia's badmintion team before the kiwis right? ;P

Man!! NZ got silver in womens and mens basketball, and both lost to Australia!! geramnya!!! :P But hey, that still means we're second best in the Commonwealth :)
NZ also did well in swimming, netball, shotput, shooting, rugby (of course!) and a couple others. I heard we beat Malaysian tabletennis :P and I think we beat malaysian badminton females duo also :P

Yeah I know, no one is posting, and kristy is too lazy to register hahah :P Wern Jing I also dunno what happen to her, and the others haven't been updating or inviting more people either.. Haiz.. what to do?

Anyways, just had my first week of uni, has been pretty fun, but at the same time it's a lot of work. I'm doing 6 papers this semester!! Hopefully I'll survive it lar, but there's a lot of reading as usual, already behind like 15 pages. Been hanging out at the Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF) stall during my free time (that i should have spent studying) for O week (orientation week). It suddenly got really cold, like 12 degrees celcius last night! Had a bit of problems clicking the mouse when playing dota haha. But back to uni, i have crazy hours, something like 5 hour breaks inbetween my classes and going home is so mah fan, ahhh hopefully i should spend that time studying lar.

Anyways, take it easy all of you. when is jackson leaving to america exactly? When you leave I hope you have a safe journey haha. And get a computer and original bnet so you can play bnet with me :P

Wahahah welcome Jackson, uhmm yeah I've invited a lot of people lar, whether they join or not is up to them I hope they do lar! Uhmm hahah last night went dota again, kicked butt, not scared of the pro that I was so scared of before already. I found out an awesome tactic to fight against Sand King, basically for your allies to stand far apart. So when he stuns you and epicenters, only one dies, and the rest can own him afterwards instead of him killing everyone. So cun man! SK is useless after that.

But for the rest of the guys, I hope you'll post here to let us know what is happening to you these days. To set the pace I'll start off myself.

I've seriously been doing nothing but go on the computer or ps2 man! This past week I've spent more time on those two than I did during the whole holidays (excluding time for Soul Calibur, which i counted as time spent with friends :P). Maybe that's life here lar, I think Michael Ngoi is also like this when he goes to KL. I'm very bored here, just waiting for Uni to start on Monday, still got a couple courses to sort out before then, so hopefully everything goes well.
I'm still sleeping around 3-4 am, not because of jetlag, but because of my malaysian friends here who play DoTA, aihhh I can't get enough sleep lar haha.
Anyways, that's me so far, miss malaysia a lot, miss all my friends a lot, waiting for university to start.
